At Expressions Music Academy, we offer 30, 45, or 60-minute private violin, viola, and cello lessons for beginner, intermediate, and advanced students. Our professional music teachers at our Great Falls location use the Suzuki method alongside other teaching methods for a well-rounded music curriculum that gives students strong foundations of intonation, technique, and note-reading. Each of our Great Falls instructors undergoes a rigorous hiring process that consists of numerous screenings, auditions, and interviews. Once hired, our instructors go through an extensive training program and are regularly evaluated to ensure consistent excellence for our students. We believe a great teacher has passion, drive, and cares deeply for their students, so we work hard to seek out those who create a positive atmosphere in the classroom. All our instructors either hold or are actively pursuing degrees in music and have had prior music teaching experience.
FLEXIBLE SCHEDULING AND MAKE-UP OPTIONS 7 DAYS A WEEK IN GREAT FALLS
We have many strings lesson times available during the week and weekend. Additionally, our Great Falls location is open year-round, even during the summer. We also make it easy to change your lesson time, cancel your lesson, or perform a make-up lesson with our unlimited schedule-changing policy. We understand you’re busy, so if you cannot come in for your make-up lesson, you can request a custom video make-up lesson from your instructor instead.
BIANNUAL RECITALS IN GREAT FALLS
Students want to feel motivated to practice, and parents want to see progress, so we offer optional biannual recitals. We provide several recital options and themes, performed twice each year at our concert hall in Great Falls. Our recitals are only an hour long and free for all involved, making it possible for students to perform in front of an audience.
LEVEL UP MUSIC ACHIEVEMENT PROGRAM
Through our Level Up Music Achievement Program, our students can enthusiastically climb from levels one through 10, earning certificates, wristbands, stickers, and trophies for making progress on their music lessons. It’s like a martial arts black belt program but for music lessons! This structured, nationally recognized, and motivating free program is optional, but we highly encourage all Expressions students to participate to see how far they’ve come in mastering their instrument.
MONTH-TO-MONTH LESSON STRUCTURE
At Expressions Music Academy in Great Falls, we don’t tie our strings students to long-term quarterly or annual commitments for their music lessons. Instead, students are only committed to classes for one month at a time.
